# ShareMeetingType (Beta)

> Enum for ShareMeetingType - controls how a meeting is shared

The `ShareMeetingType` enum specifies how a meeting is shared by the [shareMeeting](/graphql-api/mutation/share-meeting) mutation.

<Note>
  The `PASSWORD_LINK` share type is in **beta** and is being progressively rolled out. Contact support to have it enabled for your organization.

## Values

<ParamField path="EMAIL" type="Enum Value">
  Default. Shares the meeting directly with the given email addresses. Recipients access the meeting with their Fireflies account.
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="PASSWORD_LINK" type="Enum Value">
  Creates a password-protected link for the meeting. Anyone with the link and the password can view the meeting without a Fireflies account. Requires the `password` field.
</ParamField>

## Usage

Set as the `share_type` field on [ShareMeetingInput](/schema/input/share-meeting-input).

  shareMeeting(

      meeting_id: "your_meeting_id"
      emails: ["guest@example.com"]
      share_type: PASSWORD_LINK
      password: "a-strong-password"
